With improvement in technology everyday, these simulators are getting more and more closer to the real game. I would suggest these machines to people who are just playing for fun and people looking to make some business out of it. A professional player would most likely try to stay away from it unless it is really very accurate. Because these simulators can cause some serious damage to your game if they are not accurate.

Being said all that, there are advantages such as you can be in touch with golf even during bad weather. Also you can save time running from hole to hole. These golf simulators come with real golf courses replicas, so you can practice your favorite course on a simulator and act as being a pro on the real field.
